Recovered car pieces possibly linked to murders

GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Michigan State Police have uncovered pieces of a car that could be tied to the unsolved murders of children nearly four decades ago.

Investigators have been focusing on a construction site in Grand Blanc Township. They have found several car and bike parts that they think are connected to the killings of four children back in the 1970s.

"There are some indicators that look toward that case," said Lieutenant Mike Shaw.

Police say the land was once farm land, so it is possible it is just dump site.

But police are continuing to dig through what they have found.
