Red Cross behind on blood donations

The one thing the Red Cross needs right now is blood donors.
Super storm Sandy has caused the cancellation of nearly 4,000 blood drives across the East Coast which means that the Red Cross is in short supply.
They are urging anyone who can give blood to do so.
Right now the organization is down 12,000 donations they would normally have.
