NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Red Cross and country music celebrities are donating thousands of dollars following the devastation of the tornadoes that struck Tennessee early in March.
Not only are these country music artists pitching in but so are their record labels.
“They'd you know, tell you a little bit about what they were going through and friends that are going through it and they still managed to donate whatever they could, I just thought that was great," said Charles Kelley, a country music singer and songwriter.
The donations are going toward the victims of the tornadoes and the Red Cross has even set up multiple shelters for those left without a home.
A ten dollar donation can be made by texting REDCROSS to 90999.
