Registration open for "Slide the City" in South Bend
The list of events for South Bend's 150th Birthday Celebration continues to grow; registration has officially opened for "Slide the City".
Slide the City describes their event as a way to embrace your inner child.
If you want to participate in what Slide the City calls the biggest water party of the summer, just grab your swimsuit and an inflatable tube.
There will also be music, dancing, food, drinks, and some swag for sale.
The 1000-foot Slip and Slide will start right at the corner of East Lasalle Avenue and North Notre Dame Avenue in South Bend.
You can register now for a single slider, triple slider, or unlimited slider, with prices ranging from $10.00 up to $65.00, based on how many rides you want and when you register.
All participants are required to slide with an inflatable tube, which you can purchase there if you don't bring your own.
If you are interested in saving some money and registering early, you can visit the Slide the City South Bend website here.
"Slide the City" will be coming to South Bend on Sunday June 14
