A mainly dry night is expected with an isolated evening thunderstorm possible. The heat and humidity are back for Monday with highs near 90 with plenty of sun. A stray thunderstorm is possible.

The tropical remnants of Barry will influence our weather Monday night thru Wednesday evening with chances for showers and thunderstorms during that window. It’ll be humid, but not quite as hot with highs in the low to mid-80s both days.

Then the heat is on beginning Thursday. Highs will easily reach 90 and likely rise above that Thursday thru Saturday. We could again see 90 on Sunday depending on how things wind up evolving. It will be very humid as well, sending heat indexes up into the triple digits each day. It’s possible maximum heat indexes reach 105° or higher. A stray thunderstorm is possible during this period, especially during the evening and night.

The heat backs off a little bit heading into next week with elevated chances for showers and thunderstorms late Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
