Report shows average college student owes $30,000

Students determined to get their degrees are now collecting more debt.
A new report shows the class of 2012 graduated with an average debt close to $30,000. That is up nearly $4,000 from 2011.
The group who did the study says 2 big things are contributing to the spike: Higher tuition costs and more families are unable to help pay for school for their child.
