Republican National Convention gets underway in Florida

TAMPA, Fla. -- The Republican National Convention is underway in Tampa after being delayed a day because of Hurricane Isaac.

Indiana and Michigan's delegations were both there.

And Jackie Walorski, the candidate for the 2nd Congressional District in Indiana, got a moment in the spotlight.

On Tuesday, she gave a speech to the delegates.

"When Indiana faced a deficit, we didn't play bi-partisan games," Walorski said. "We rolled up our sleeves and turned a billion dollar deficit into a surplus."

On Tuesday, the highlighted speech will come from Ann Romney, Mitt Romney's wife.
