Residents and business owners weigh-in on festivals

What does the future hold for summertime festivals in St. Joseph?



This week, residents and business owners will be asked to weigh-in.



Some people say events like the Venetian Festival keep shoppers away from downtown.



Others have complained about parking.



Monday night, City commissioners voted to mail out anonymous surveys.



In addition to the Venetian, Michiganders will be asked about the Blossomtime Festival, the Krasl Art Fair, and the fireworks displays.
