Residents fed up with potholes and flooding at Timberbook Homes
BRISTOL, Ind. — Residents at the Timberbrook Manufactured Homes Community are speaking out about conditions in the complex.
Neighbors tell ABC57 they’ve had problems with flooding throughout the area for years, and potholes are left uncovered.
Residents say one pothole in-particular has damaged dozens of cars, with a nearby homeowner saying she’s constantly helping people get their cars out of the street. Others say the same spot has led to broken axles and the need for tow trucks.
Viewers even shared photos of a school bus getting stuck as a result of the pothole back on December 12th.
A resident told our crew that when it floods, water typically comes all the way up the street into their driveway, which is about 20 feet from the road.
ABC57 asked the property manager for an interview, but she declined. She said the hope is for the big pothole to get covered temporarily, and then have much of the road replaced next summer.
Our team also reached out to the property owners, River Valley Communities, but have not heard back.
