Retired Cass County K9 dies

CASS COUNTY, Mich. - The Cass County Sheriff's Office announced via Facebook the death of retired K9, Nellie, on May 16.

Nellie and her handler, Deputy Tiffany Graves, served Cass County and surrounding areas from May 1, 2013, until January 18, 2023.

Nellie and Graves are said to have responded to 475 calls for service, 211 deployments, 83 assists and finds, and 770 public relation events.
