SOUTH BEND, Ind. – On Wednesday, Chemical manufacturer Tri-Pac held a ribbon cutting event celebrating the opening of its South Bend location.
The company is expected to create 70 new jobs, and it is being reported that over half of those positions are already filled.
Vikram Shah, the founder of Tri-Pac, says that doing business in South Bend is the right move.
“Indiana has offered the best incentives – there are a lot of tax incentives – and also very talented and you know, dedicated staff that we can get here, to recruit our people,” Shah said.
Tri-Pac will operate out of an 8 million dollar facility.
Every position is expected to be filled by next year.
