SOUTH BEND, Ind. - From measuring to mixing and baking, kids are learning the ins and outs of the kitchen at the River Valley Farmers' Market on the second Saturday of every month.
Rebecca Miller, the market's coordinator, spoke with ABC57's Jordan Hatfield today about what kids can expect at the event.
The cookie of the month was gingerbread.
Today, kids used products from the market, along with fall shaped cookie cutters--leaves, turkeys, pumpkins--to create their dessert.
All cooking classes are free for kids of any age.
