Riverside Intermediate holds Relay for Life closing ceremony

PLYMOUTH, Ind. -- Students at Riverside Intermediate in Plymouth held their closing ceremony for the Relay for Life fundraiser.

The school started the Relay for Life back in March.

Thursday was their last day of school so they had their closing ceremony.

"Today is our closing ceremonies. It’s the last day of school. We walked in here with 600 students. It's a pretty solemn occasion," said Riverside Intermediate Principal Jeni Hirschy.

The school did not know the total money raised just yet. They were still adding up that total.
