ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Transportation announced there will be two separate road closures on State Road 931 near Lakeville that will go into effect on Monday and March 25.

The first road closure, beginning on Monday, will shut down traffic access on State Road 931 from Whitmer Road to State Road 4. This closure is estimated to last through the middle of April.

A second road closure, beginning on March 25, will shut down traffic access on State Road 931 from Shively Road to Tyler Road.

Both road closures will allow contractors to complete pipe and structure replacements along these areas of State Road 931.

Lane closures will be in place between Whitmer Road and Tyler Road for resurfacing from early June through late August.

Detours for these road and lane closures will follow Kern Road, US 31, State Road 4 and US 6.
