SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The City of South Bend announced two traffic alerts beginning March 10.

Starting Thursday. Miami Road will be closed from Ridgedale Road to Donmoyer Avenue for an emergency water service line repair.

The detour will be Ireland Road and Ewing Avenue via Ironwood Drive.

The street is expected to reopen at the end of the day Saturday, weather permitting.

Starting Monday, March 14, Riverside Drive will be closed from Angela Boulevard to Vassar Avenue for tree removal.

The detour will be Angela Boulevard and Vassar Avenue via Portage Avenue.

The street is expected to reopen at the end of the day on April 1, weather permitting.
