Robin Ventura hired in as new Whitesox skipper

CHICAGO, Ill. -- Robin Ventura is now the new manager of the Chicago Whitesox.



The former player agreed to a multi-year deal with the club, after working the past season as a special advisor.



44-year-old, Ventura is taking the place of Ozzie Guillen.
