Rochester Police K9 gets body armor donation

FULTON COUNTY, Ind. – Rochester Police Department’s K9 La’Ron has received a body armor donation thanks to the non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9’s, Inc.

La’Ron’s bullet and stab protective vest was sponsored by Pappy Joe Construction Co, Inc. of Ellwood City, PA, and has the sentiment, “In memory of Jake Puff” embroidered on it.

Vested Interest in K9’s, Inc. was established in 2009. Since its inception, the organization has donated over 4,247 vests to K9s in all 50 states.
