Rosie the Riveter plant to be demolished

YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Michigan factory that made Rosie the Riveter famous is set to be demolished.

That is if enough money cannot be raised to save it.

The Willow Run bomber plant cranked out 9,000 B-24 bombers during World War II.

But it will be torn down unless a group can raise millions in three days.

Rosie the Riveter was the nation's poster girl for women joining the work force during World War II.
