Cold and snowy, again
Clouds and humidity increase tonight which will keep lows a little warmer overnight in the mid 60s. Needed rainfall will move through Michiana on Thursday, likely in the mid-morning hours into the afternoon. It will be light to moderate and no thunderstorms are expected. Highs should approach 80 Thursday afternoon as the rain ends but it will stay pretty cloudy. A warm front inches toward the Great Lakes Thursday night which will create widespread thunderstorm activity after midnight into Friday morning. Some storms could be strong but the main concern with this is heavy rainfall rates. It should begin to dry up Friday morning into the afternoon as highs soar into the mid 80s and humidity peaks into the tropical range. A secondary boundary could spark scattered storms Friday afternoon and evening, and these could also bring strong to severe storms but confidence in this right now is low. Better chances for storms exist to our east Friday afternoon. Lingering rain showers are possible into Saturday before we dry out Sunday and become less humid. Next week looks mild and dry.
Tonight: Increasing clouds and humidity. Low 66.
Thursday: Rain showers and humid. High 80.
Friday: Scattered storms and muggy. High 85.
Saturday: Scattered rain showers and humid. High 79.
