SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Bishop Rhoades announced the newly appointed Principal of South Bend’s Saint Joseph High School on Thursday.
John Kennedy was appointed by the Fort Wayne-South Bend bishop, and will succeed Susan Richter.
Kennedy is experienced in education. He has served at Washington High School, Riley High School, South Bend New Tech High School and Darden Primary Center.
Kennedy is no stranger to the Indians, his wife and two children are all alumni.
"It has been a privilege to work in the South Bend Schools. At this point in my career, I am thrilled to begin a new journey at Saint Joseph High School and the Catholic diocese. Saint Joseph is a fantastic school with phenomenal families. I look forward to building on the strengths of Saint Joseph High School, and developing a vision that aligns with the tenets of faith, character and excellence, yet take the school to new heights and prominence.” Kennedy stated.
