Salmon Chase kicks off this weekend in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Get ready to lace up your sneakers.The 14th Annual Salmon Chase is this weekend in South Bend.
About 1000 runners are expected to race along the St. Joseph River.
The Salmon Chase starts and ends at The College Football Hall of Fame.
All the proceeds go to The Kelly Cares Foundation.
Why not kick-off your college football Saturday, with a 5k or a 10k run?
Becky Beckman, the race director said, “Lace up your shoes get a good run in before you head over to campus and tailgate, makes you feel a little bit better about yourself before the day.”
Another reason to head out? The hall of fame will host a post-race party with food, games, and entertainment.
