Salvation Army of Elkhart hosts school supplies donation event on August 5

ELKHART, Ind. – The Salvation Army of Elkhart is hosting a Back 2 School event to help families struggling to afford school supplies.
The event, sponsored by The Fenech Family, will distribute backpacks full of school supplies and a gift card for shoes to children ages 17 and under.
Backpacks will be handed out by appointment only between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at The Matterhorn Banquets & Catering, located at 2041 Cassopolis Street in Elkhart.
The distribution will be drive-thru style.
Parents/caregivers must present a photo ID when they pick up the backpack.
