The Salvation Army of Elkhart will be accepting applications for families in need of Christmas assistance on October 21.

Qualified families will receive a Toys for Tots voucher, a Red Ribbon Basket filled with household and personal hygiene items, and a grocery gift card.

Residents in the Elkhart, Bristol or Middlebury zip codes can apply online from October 21 through November 4.

Documents you're required to upload include government issued photo ID, proof of address and income and birth certificates for children ages 14 and under.

Families may be chosen for adoption once per lifetime.
