Sarah Strong visitation Friday, funeral Saturday

ELKHART, Ind. -- There will be visitation hours for Sarah Crane Friday night.

Sarah was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer in July. She passed away on Saturday after battling the cancer for several months.

Sarah's visitation hours are this Friday from 4pm-8pm at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home on Franklin Street in Elkhart.

The 15-year old's story found its way into the hearts of many across Michiana, especially in her hometown of Elkhart.

Throughout her struggle with cancer, countless Tweets came pouring in from community members. Every one of the Tweets were specially marked for Crane, with "#SarahStrong."

Her Facebook page, simply named #SarahStrong, has over 10,000 followers.

Thursday at the Elkhart Memorial vs. Elkhart Central swim meet, girls on both team wore purple swim caps to show their support for Sarah.

Her funeral is set for Saturday morning at 10 at California Road Missionary Church on County Road 12 West. If you can't make it to the service, it'll also be broadcast live online.
