There is little change in the weather until this weekend. Saturday is not the best set-up for snow, as the system is far to the east, but the jet stream is favorable in producing light snowfall. Most should plan for less than three inches of fluffy snow, more than three is likely in the lake enhancement zone of LaPorte / Berrien county. A punch of even colder air hits Sunday-Monday, potentially dropping lows to zero. A more favorable setup for snow may come Tuesday of next week.

Tonight: Evening flurries. Low 8.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy. High 20.
Friday: Partly cloudy. High 22.
Saturday: Light snow showers. High 18.
