ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A 'Pop Out' event with SAVE Outreach in South Bend took place on Monday.
Organizers with Stand Against Violence Everyday gathered the team at the corner of Diamond Avenue and Humboldt Street from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday for free food and music.
The event was held as a way of cheering on the success of all those who help make the organization's goals possible.
Aside from being a mid-year boost for morale, organizers explain that the pop out events help them reach different neighborhoods.
Holding events allows them to talk more closely with residents and each other about ways to ensure neighbors live together peacefully.
