SBCSC president calls for special meeting in November

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The tension on the South Bend Community School Board continues to grow after the board president called for a special meeting set for November.

Board president Roger Parent called for the board to meet in November to censure fellow board member, board Vice-President Bill Sniadecki. That means he would no longer be an officer, but he would still be allowed to vote.

Last month, Sniadecki slammed the board for "inappropriate actions" during an executive session.

They will wait until after the Nov. 6 before they act. The board will wait to see if Sniadecki is re-elected.
