SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- On Friday. Dec. 26, the South Bend Fire Department responded to a carbon monoxide call.
At approximately 8:30 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to the 1200 block of North Eddy Street at Brother's Bar and Grill for high levels of carbon monoxide.
Firefighters reported confirmed readings of the carbon monoxide and evacuated everyone due to the large number of patrons inside and apartments above the business.
The building was fully checked for carbon monoxide, and no one was transported to the hospital.
The source was located and isolated, and the restaurant remained closed for the rest of the evening.
