SOUTH BEND, Ind.--- South Bend Police is investigating several shootings that happened between Friday and Monday. According to officials more than 300 shots were fired and 5 people were injured in that time span.
On Friday morning, officers responded to shootings on West Linden, North Jackson, North College, West Florence and West Fassnacht. More than 70 shots were confirmed at those scenes.
Two hours later, a person walked into Memorial Hospital after being shot on South Franklin Street. That victim is expected to be ok.
Just after 2 that afternoon a 13 year old was shot on Kemble Avenue. At 5:30 that evening a person was shot on Chestnut street both of those victims are expected to be ok.
Officers say more than 54 rounds were fired between 11 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday near Olive and Bertrand but no one was injured.
Later that evening even more shots were fired near the same intersection, with more shots being fired early Sunday morning.
South Bend Police is asking that anyone with any information on these shootings to come forward.
