Letter from Riley High School Principal Shawn Henderson:
Dear Riley High School Community,
This afternoon, Riley High School was placed on a brief lockdown at approximately 1:15 p.m. following an altercation between students. During this incident, a staff member sustained a minor injury and was promptly assisted by first responders.
Our lockdown procedures were immediately activated to ensure the safety of all students and staff. The lockdown remained in effect until 1:40 p.m., at which time we were informed that it was safe to return to normal operations.
