It's a dry start to the week out the door this morning, but scattered rain showers are likely this afternoon. A few thunderstorms could also develop.
High temperatures will be in the mid 70s early this afternoon, with temperatures dropping a few degrees in the late afternoon and evening.
A few showers linger into early Tuesday morning, then we enter into a period of mainly dry, sunny weather of the remainder of the week.
Waves on Lake Michigan will be choppy Tuesday with a red flag. The beach forecast improves to a green flag Wednesday, but waves will be choppy again by Thursday.
There could be a few showers possible Thursday, and it will be a little breezy.
High temperatures will stay below normal, in the 70s, this week, although we may warm closer to 80 by Friday.
Temperatures continue to soar over the weekend and next week will be hot in the upper 80s.
