MISHAWAKA, Ind. --- The School City of Mishawaka began issuing E-learning devices to students Thursday. By Tuesday the school district hopes to hand out more than 1800 devices to all of its students.
Mishawaka will begin the school year completely online until at least September 18th.
The device distribution is taking place at John Young Middle School.
Thursday's distribution was for 7th - 9th graders and 10th - 12th graders who are attending a SCM school for the first time.
All other students from Kindergarten to 12th grade can receive their devices from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Friday and on Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
