Indianapolis high school cancels classes after knife incident with 2 students

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A high school in Indianapolis has sent students home early after two were involved in a morning "altercation involving a knife."

Few details were immediately released, though medical care was being provided.

That's according to the Metropolitan School District of Washington Township.

The incident occurred at North Central High School.

The district says one student has been apprehended, and medical care is being provided.

The school building is secure.
