School system looks to curb excessive celebration

PITT COUNTY, N.C. -- Excessive celebration is real life is normally not punished, but one school system in North Carolina wants to penalize folks who get loud at graduation ceremonies.

A school system in Pitt County, N.C. is making parents sign a contract when they pick up graduation tickets stating they won't make any noise at the ceremny.

The school system stated that items such as air horns and other celebratory devices will not be permitted. The prohibition on the items was always a rule but parents and other relatives still bring the items in.
