SOUTH BEND, Ind.— The lockdown is over but the search for answers continues.
After receiving a plethora of tips and complaints from the community ABC57 is continuing to investigate what sparked the St. Joseph County Jail to go under an extended lockdown starting on November 15th.
The St. Joseph County Police Department declined multiple requests to verify the reason for the lockdown, beyond “safety concerns”.
