Second suspect pleads guilty in double murder at Saleh's Market

ELKHART, Ind. -- A second suspect has pleaded guilty to murder in the deaths of two employees of Saleh's Market in Elkhart. Kevin Lorenzo Moore pleaded guilty but mentally ill on Thursday.

Prosecutors say Moore shot 20-year old Pawan Singh and 55-year old Jagtar Singh Bhatti while attempting to rob Saleh's Market.

In December 2013, Moore's alleged accomplice Richard Gross pleaded guilty to two counts of murder.

Moore and Gross both pleaded guilty without specified terms so the judge can sentence each defendant up to 130 years in prison.

Moore told the court he has been treated for bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and post traumatic stress disorder.

If his mental illness is confirmed, he will received treatment while in the custody of the Indiana Department of Corrections.

UPDATE: Moore was sentenced to 120 years in prison in April 2014.
