SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The victim has been identified as 69-year-old Sandra Murray.

An autopsy will be conducted on Saturday morning in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

South Bend police are looking for answers after a woman was killed in an apparent hit and run crash.

Investigators say the crash happened Thursday morning at about 10:30 along Bendix Drive between Rosetta Place Drive and Lathrop Street.

Police say they found the victim dead at the scene, but she has not yet been identified.

There is no suspect information at this time.
