MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- U.S. 3` will experience lane closures between 13th and 14th Road over the next three weeks as Indiana Department of Transportation contractors finish construction on an overpass bridge.

"Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns in the area as final construction tasks are completed on the overpass bridge at Elkhart Western Railroad," an INDOT spokesperson said.

"Construction is expected to wrap up the first week of June, with all four lanes open to traffic once complete."

INDOT asks that drivers allow extra time when driving through this area and follow traffic directions carefully, exercise caution, and drive distraction-free.
