Semi accident on bypass near Elm Road

Police responded to the scene of a semi versus car accident Tuesday evening where a serious accident happened.

The accident happened in the westbound lanes of U.S. 20 near the Elm Road exit.

The accident caused westbound traffic to be backed up.

Conditions of those involved are unknown at this time.

Police were able to clear the scene as of about 5:45 p.m.
