Indiana Senator Mike Braun stated on Wednesday that decision-making related to COVID-19 should be altered in terms of its response as well as the government level at which those decisions can be made at.
Braun mentioned how each area across the nation could be able to respond to COVID-19 developments with a more personalized method.
"We need to be vigilant, we can't throw caution to the wind, it's much more transmissible, but quit trying to dictate it in a one-size fits all approach,” said Braun.
This change includes Braun preferring the CDC to give more power to state health departments for creating COVID-19 policies that can be tailored to each state’s current condition in the pandemic.
