Senior pranks goes too far

NEW BERN, S.C. -- A senior prank that went too far may have some students paying their school.

School officials say student editors on the yearbook staff added fake names to the yearbook that were offensive and crude.

Some students and their parents think the prank falls between funny and downright dirty.

"Hopefully next year they will look more closely into it before they print it. Teacher editing instead of students being in charge of it all," said a parent.

Some of the fake names were Ophelia Hiney and Ben Dover and several more that were even more offensive.
