Sergeant with SBPD found dead

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A sergeant with the South Bend Police Department was found dead Wednesday morning, according to the St. Joseph County Coroner.
He was found just before 6 a.m.
The autopsy on 45-year-old Sergeant Mark Szweda was performed Wednesday.
The coroner says there was no sign of foul play, but toxicology and other lab tests are still pending.
Szweda has been with the South Bend Police Department for 18 years.
