ELKHART, Ind. - Officers executed search warrants for two homes in Elkhart early Thursday morning that resulted in marijuana, heroin, cocaine, and guns being found.
Officers searched a residence on the 300 block of West Indiana Avenue and inside the home they located more than 100 grams of marijuana, over 6 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of heroin, 3 handguns, ammunition, and documents related to drug activity.
Officers then searched a residence on the 1000 block of South 3rd Street and located several more documents related to drug activity.
The man accused, 41-year-old, Nathaniel Ford of Elkhart, was arrested for possession of a firearm by a violent felon, dealing marijuana, dealing cocaine, dealing heroin and maintaining a common nuisance. Officers learned the accused had been a previously convicted felon.
