Several units respond to dog in icy water at Pinhook Park

South Bend Police, Fire and Medics all responded to the scene of a dog into icy water.

The dog fell in at Pinhook Park in the 2800 block of Riverside Drive in South Bend.

The call went out around 4:57 p.m.

The dog was rescued a short time later when authorities say a firefighter was able to rescue the dog from the water with the help of crews.

ABC 57's Taurean Small was on the scene just moments after the rescue took place and spoke with the owner about what happened. Tune in at 6:30 for the latest.
