The greatest concerns were flooding, straight-line wind damage, and heavy downpours, all of which were reported several times across Michiana with a higher concentration in St. Joseph [IN] and La Porte counties.

Multiple trees in varying length from 10-20 ft. were found knocked down by wind with some landing on garages and houses.

Excessive rainfall across Michiana accelerated the flooding across portions of some counties, with some areas receiving almost five inches of rain.

The Hometown Days festival in New Carlisle saw most of its tents and the contents within them blown away by the wind.

Thousands are still without power as well, although crews are working to get services fully restored.

As of now, no injuries or deaths have been reported.
