Another beautiful and comfortable night is ahead for Michiana. Temperatures will fall through the 70s and 60s this evening before briefly touching the 50s overnight under mostly clear skies.
Full-blown summer makes a brief return on Tuesday as part of a (potentially) wild day of weather. The wind will pick up throughout the day as temperatures quickly soar into the upper 80s by the afternoon. Strong to severe storms are possible along a cold front that will move through Michiana during the late afternoon and evening. Our severe window is from about 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Any showers will wrap up by midnight. Our weather pattern goes back to quiet and comfortable for the rest of the week, with highs in the 70s and sunshine Wednesday-Friday. A first look at the Notre Dame football home opener has us with a mixture of sun and clouds with highs in the low 80s.
Tonight: Mostly clear and comfortable. Low 58.
Tomorrow: Becoming windy. Partly cloudy with strong/severe storms possible in the evening. High 88.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny and a little breezy. High 75.
Thursday: Mostly sunny. High 74.
