Sexual Assault Awareness Month, ICESAHT brings recognition to rape crisis center in St. Joe County

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.- The Indiana Coalition to End Sexual Assault & Human Trafficking (ICESAHT) is recognizing the Family Justice Center of St. Joseph County for their dedicated and compassionate service to victims of sexual violence.

The CEO of ICESAHT, Beth White, will visit the Family Justice Center of St. Joseph County on April 13 for their efforts in supporting survivors and ending sexual violence.

Indiana has 15 Rape Crisis Centers across the state, staffed by trained personnel who collaborate with Sexual Assault Response Teams.

The Sexual Assault Response Teams include prosecutors, law enforcement officers, victim advocates and sexual assault nurse examiners.

The ICESAHT will hold its annual conference on April 25-27, emphasizing Rape Crisis Centers and supporting their work in local communities.
