Shamrock Series attracts fans from across the country

CHICAGO, Ill. -- Fans made their way to Chicago from all over the country Saturday!
Some from as far as New York and others from all over Michiana!
But, we ran into one fan who is now a Chicago resident but played football for Notre Dame!
It's none other than Jeff Samardzija the current pitcher for the Chicago Cubs.
"Hopefully Notre Dame can do what they need to do early and keep the turnovers down and make some plays on offense and then win this game," Jeff Samardzija Cubs pitcher/Notre Dame alum.
He also played baseball for the Irish too!
