Shanklin Pool hosting family-friendly Dive-In Movie Night June 8

GOSHEN, Ind. -- The Goshen Parks and Recreation Department announced plans for its annual Dive-In Movie Night at Shanklin Pool this Saturday, June 8, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The family-friendly event will be featuring the 2007 film “The Water Horse.”

Organizers say doors open at 7:30 p.m., and entry is $3.

Lifeguards will be on duty during the event, and no open swim is allowed during the movie. Pool capacity is limited to the first 200 guests, but guests who don't wish to get wet can watch from poolside chairs. 

There will be a concession stand selling snacks, but floatable devices are not provided.

  • Rock the Quarry Triathlon, Saturday, August 10
  • Touch a Truck, Shanklin Park, Saturday, August 24, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
