ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A 16-year-old has died following a shooting that happened on Fellows Street in South Bend Monday afternoon.
At 3:48 p.m., police were called to the 1500 block of Fellows St. for reports of a shooting.
Two people were injured in the shooting and taken to the hospital.
One of the victims was pronounced dead at approximately 9:30 p.m., according to the St. Joseph Metro Homicide Unit.
Police said that a male suspect left the scene by going down a nearby alley.
St. Joseph County Metro Homicide is continuing to investigate.
Investigators urge anyone with any information about this shooting to contact either the St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit at 235-5009 or Michiana Crime Stoppers at 288-STOP.
